In response to covid-19 the EU has moved many of its ministry activities online (more details can be found here). Please stay updated by liking and following the EU on Facebook and stay connected to our faculty ministries via our faculty facebook group here.

Who We Are

"A faculty that is passionate about sharing the gospel with science students and spurring one another on in faith, witness and service, that the name of the Lord Jesus may be proclaimed and glorified."

If you’re studying a Bachelor of Science in any stream (Advanced, Advanced Mathematics or Regular) or if you're doing a double degree that includes science then Pure Science is the faculty for you! We are a group of like-minded students who are keen to explore the Bible, grow stronger in our relationship with Jesus and learn what it means to be a Christian in our chosen field. Whoever you are we'd love to meet you and to help you know more about Jesus and what it means to be a Christian both at uni and afterwards.

We are always looking for opportunities to share God's love with each other and our fellow students on campus. We have a global focus, praying that the gospel will be proclaimed throughout the Earth.

What We Do

There are so many ways to get involved with Pure Science! Join us this year as we meet together to study the Bible, attend Public Meetings and take part in a variety of events organised by our faculty or the wider EU community.

Public Meetings

All-Union Public Meetings are back on for another year! We like to sit together as a faculty or catch up after the meeting over some afternoon tea. You can find out more information about Public Meetings in the "Activities" tab of the EU website.

Other Events

The EU is putting on a whole range of exciting events this year, such as Ancon (27th - 31st July). Our faculty will also be hosting many events throughout the year such as a combined worship night with Applied Science in week 7, and a Pure-Applied Science conference (SciCon) on December 14th! You can check out the EU website or join our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/147601359240033/) to find out more about these events and how you can get involved.
